On Friday early evening I left the Festival earlier than I would have wanted, having found it was getting extremely difficult to get served in the Scottish beers bar.  The people drinking at the counter had reached more than 5 deep and getting through to be served gradually cancelled out the enjoyment of trying more beers. Would it be possible to have one 3 or 4 feet lengths on each counter reserved for serving only, banning drinkers from standing or leaning in that area?  As a regular at this Festival, I realise Friday was exceptionally busy, but a serving only area would be welcome even with smaller crowds.

Thanks for your comments, the festival staff also understand your frustration on this matter and we are looking into ways of increasing space available for all festival goers next year. Keep an eye on the site for more developments.
